The Reed House Apartments is a 13 building garden style apartment complex in Boise, ID.
The easier half of the project was replacing large portions of siding through out the complex. The more challenging part of the project was demolishing and rebuilding the entry breezeways to the buildings while keeping the buildings occupied.
We decided to only demolish sections of what we could rebuild in the same day, even if that meant installing temporary plywood and railings.
Some sections were more complicated, like where there were 8x8 columns that needed to be replaced that went three stories high.
After rebuilding the breezeways, the Owner decided to change out all of the deck railings to Sunwood, which we did as well.
