Meridian Green Townhomes is a twenty-nine building apartment complex in Kent.
We worked with the client early on to establish a ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) evaluation so they would have a good idea of what the project would cost before the design stage was even started. This is service we often provide to assist our clients in understanding roughly the scope of their building's requirements.
Meridian Green's existing vinyl siding was starting to fail. Much of the wall sheathing also required repairs. The windows & sliding glass doors had issues. Decks and railings required attention.
The vinyl siding was replaced with superior Hardie fiber-cement siding, installed over a Vaproshield weather resistive barrier and rainscreen.
All of the exiting windows were replaced with new VPI vinyl windows. Sliding glass doors were replaced. There were deck repairs & existing wooden deck railings were replaced with durable maintenance-free aluminum railings.
We finished this project in eight months, despite the large amount of wall sheathing that needed replacement. This project was one of our larger ones, with 142,000 sq ft of siding and 810 windows & sliding glass doors installed.
